I am very passionate about sustainability and eco-friendliness (during high school and university, I was part of the environmental club and took part in monthly beach clean-ups) – this is one of the things that drew me to Colyer London when I first applied for this position. One of Colyer’s new projects to decrease our carbon footprint was to partner with Print Releaf.
“Print Releaf empowers businesses to sustain and grow our global forestry system – one print job at a time”
Working closely with industry experts, Print Releaf has successfully developed a technology that allows customers to reforest their paper consumption.
How does Print Releaf work?
- Print Releaf measures your company’s paper consumption over time
- Print Releaf calculates the forest impact of your paper consumption
- Your paper footprint is automatically reforested at planting sites of your choice
Print Releaf allows you to measure your footprint and forest impact over time. Your paper consumption data is automatically updated and converted into trees using their Standard. Print Releaf guarantees that every sheet of paper that you consume will be reforested at a rate of 8,333 sheets of standard A4 paper per tree. You can explore Print Releaf’s global reforestation projects and browse the project profiles. You are able to select your preferred forests – including Brazil, India, Madagascar and Mexico. Your trees will be planted in these areas.
Print Releaf certifies the reforestation of your forest footprint according to their measurements and calculations. When your footprint is reforested, you are issued a certificate for the trees reforested at the location of your choice. These certificates are automatically updated when the trees are planted, audited and verified survived over an eight-year timeline.
How do I join Print Releaf?
We love Print Releaf and we know many of our customers will too. All of our VIP customers can join Print Releaf for no extra charge! Just speak to your account manager and they will get you set up.
The average office worker prints 34 pages per day and 17% of these prints go completely unused. How many employees do your company have? How many trees were your company responsible for cutting down last year?
Here at Colyer, we are big into sustainability. Print Releaf is just one of the many ways we are trying to improve our (and your) carbon footprint. Let’s be part of the change together. Go green the pink way.
