Common Questions From Colyer Customers.
How do I book an engineer or report a fault?
Call your service team on 01483 596299, email servicedesk@colyer.co.uk. Every request goes straight to a person who can help.
Can Colyer service a machine you did not sell us?
Yes. We service the equipment we sell — and equipment you already own — across London and South England, subject to an initial inspection.
Call us to discuss your machine.
Where do I download the latest drivers or software?
Visit Software & driver downloads for the current drivers, RIP updates and utilities for your machine.
How do I reorder ink, media or consumables?
Browse and order through Ink & media, or call your service team and we will sort it for you.
What does my service plan cover?
It depends on your machine. Office printers run on a Colyer CarePlan — all engineering time and parts covered, phone response within the hour, a fast site visit, and toner monitored automatically and billed on click pricing. Large format signage and technical printers run on a Colyer UpTime Plan — engineers' time and parts covered (not ink), phone response within the hour, a fast site visit, and telephone support for drivers and software. Fujifilm digital presses get the Colyer Service Plan, with standard toner billed per click. Colyer is your main point of contact, managing your contract and account, while Fujifilm's engineers keep your press running.
Call us to confirm which applies to your machine.
Can I get help without waiting for an engineer visit?
Often, yes. We offer remote support — an engineer can securely view and control your screen to diagnose and fix software issues on the spot. Call your service team to get started.
Can you move our machine to a new office?
Yes — have your machine professionally moved or relocated to a new location or office. We know how to decommission and recommission efficiently, and can move various manufacturers' systems.
What are your service hours?
Monday to Thursday, 08:45–17:15, Friday 08:45–17:00. Call or email your service team.
What's the difference between a service contract and break-fix support?
A service contract covers planned maintenance and response times for a fixed cost; break-fix means paying per visit as problems come up. Which is right for you depends on how much downtime risk you can carry.
