What can it print on?
HP lists 14 rigid boards for the R530, from foamboard and Correx to ACM, wood and glass. Test any new board before a run.
Will the heat warp my boards?
HP Latex cures with heat, so thin plastics and Correx can bow until the curing temperature is set lower for that board, sometimes with a slower print mode.
How thick, big and heavy?
The R530 takes sheets up to 1.62 × 1.52 m (6 m long with extension tables), up to 51 mm thick and 68 kg. No maker publishes a minimum thickness.

HP built the R530 for shops that mount vinyl today, and says it needs less space than a 4 × 8 ft flatbed. Plan on 15.5 m²/h in standard mode. Best fit: HP Latex R530. Single-phase power. Boards up to 68 kg, plus roll media. White ink built in, with an Overcoat for scuff resistance.

What's the difference between a flatbed and a hybrid?
A flatbed holds rigid boards on a table while it prints. A hybrid, like the HP Latex R530, also takes roll media, so one machine covers boards and flexible jobs.
Can I print on Correx, Dibond or acrylic without primer?
The HP Latex R530 is rated for 14 rigid substrates, including Correx, foamboard, ACM, wood, acrylic and glass. Test every new board before a run.
Will the curing heat warp my boards?
