CAD Plotters & Technical Printers
Not sure which plotter you need?
Tell us what you print and we'll pick out the machines we'd look at first, with a note on why each one fits.
Got a few models in mind?
See their specs side by side, any brand, with the differences highlighted.
Know exactly what you want?

CAD plotters for architects and engineers.
The HP DesignJet T-series is the most common technical plotter in AEC firms across London and South England. We have supplied and serviced T-series plotters for Area Square, Sir Robert McAlpine, Horsham Council, and dozens of practices in between. We stock, install, and support them.
Print and scan in one machine.
The MFP variant of the HP DesignJet T2600 dominates in architecture and construction — because AEC buyers need to scan drawings as much as print them. Print A1 drawings and scan originals without a separate device. We stock, supply, and service the full MFP range.
Save on plotters and technical kit.
Looking for a lower-cost route? We also sell fully serviced refurbished plotters.
From file to finish.
Scanning, print management and file sharing, chosen to work with your plotter and supported by the same team.
Technical printing: what you need to know.
Digitise drawings and plans without sending them out.
Contex large-format scanners digitise A0 drawings, plans, and site maps accurately and at speed. We supply and support Contex scanners for AEC and reprographics customers across London and South England.
Inks and media — delivered when you need them.
HP DesignJet inks, Epson SureColor inks, and technical media — stock orders and managed replenishment. Phoenix ME buys machines, media, and ink from us. One supplier, one invoice.
PaperCut to send, queue and track plans from anywhere in the office.
Submit jobs to a shared plotter from any PC, queue them, and see what’s printed and by whom — without standing at the machine.
LucidLink to work on large project files together, across offices and sites.
CAD, BIM and GIS files stream straight from cloud storage, so every site works on the same live file without waiting for it to sync or download.
ONYX RIP for colour-accurate renders and posters on your plotter.
Drive wide-format plotter output with ONYX RIP software — colour management, nesting, and job queuing for technical print. Our engineers are ONYX Certified Operators and configure the software for your specific devices and media.
Keep your machine running for years.
We don't just install it. With a Colyer UpTime Plan, engineers' time and parts are covered to keep your printer running for years. Engineers are all Manufacturer Certified.
Who do I call?
One team for sales, service and consumables. You'll speak to a person who can help, not a call centre.
What if it breaks?
Engineers' time and all service parts covered as standard. Phone response within the hour, a fast site visit.
Questions About Technical Printers.
Which technical plotters do you supply and support?
The HP DesignJet T-series — T2600, T1600 and T850 MFP — plus the Epson SureColor SC-T5700D. We stock, install and support them all.
Do I need the MFP version?
If you need to scan drawings as well as print them, yes. The MFP variant of the T2600 is the most popular choice in architecture and construction for exactly that reason — print A1 drawings and scan originals without a separate device.
What if my Windows update breaks compatibility with my old plotter?
This is one of the most common reasons practices come to us — an IT-led Windows update stops an older plotter working. Call us and we'll help you work out whether it's a driver fix or time to replace the machine.
What's included in the Colyer UpTime Plan?
Engineers' time and parts are covered to keep your printer running; ink isn't included. Phone response within the hour, a fast site visit, and telephone support for drivers and software.
What if my plotter breaks down?
Call us on 01483 596 200, Monday to Thursday 08:45–17:15, Friday 08:45–17:00. You'll speak to a person who can help, not a call centre.
Do you supply ink and media too?
Yes — HP DesignJet inks, Epson SureColor inks and technical media, with stock orders. One supplier, one invoice.
Can I finance a new plotter?
Most customers spread the cost over 36 or 60 months. We work with a finance provider, or a broker of your choice — speak to us and we will help you find the right option for your business.
